Eval Mentor
Eval Mentor is a comprehensive online questionnaire which guides and buttresses a dialogue between an evaluator and a project which is commissioning or planning an evaluation. The questionnaire came out of many years' experience with the problem of helping clients to understand that they can shape the kind of evaluation they want, and that there are choices to be made about how data will be collected and analysed, and results reported, which have planning implications.
Jenny Hughes evolved the content of the questionnaire itself, and also contributed very comprehensive online help content to explain the choices and inform the dialogue.
KnowNet has just ported Eval Mentor so that dialogues can be created and managed as Plone content types. Every dialogue gets an embedded group weblog to support continuing discussion of the choices being arrived at. (This means that Eval Mentor requires that knotes is also installed).
