I've just search google using "Wales Wide Web" and suddenly it appears in second place. I think all of us need to add some links to your blog so google will move you again in top of the legue!
Hi Graham,
In enjoyed the presentation at BlogTalk. Also noticed that a lot of people seemed confused as to the message :) No matter, after talking to Raymond, I also spread the message to those still confused during dinner.
One of my take-aways from your presentation was stressing the *activities* people can do together on a platform, and linking that to the 'social' in social software. To me until now social software means that it puts human relationships above the information that flows through them, and keeps those relationships visible at all times.
Adding 'activities' to that is an angle worth exploring more.
I also liked Bazaar in the sense that it allows you to do things (like the preferred future thing you demo-ed) that you would normally do with face to face groups, but then on-line for more geographically dispersed groups.
Raymond and I are sure to meet here in NL in the near future and continue the conversation.
I think that skills and knowledge aquired by informal learning already have exchange value on the labour market. Skills that a gained through informal learning are widely asked for by employers simply by asking for "work experience"
